About Hypnotherapy & Hypnosis
Clinical hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to work with the subconscious mind — the part of your mind that holds your habits, automatic reactions, beliefs, and emotional responses. Unlike regular talk therapy or counselling, which works primarily at the conscious level, hypnotherapy allows you to address the deeper patterns behind your symptoms. It is practised by trained professionals and is recognised by major medical and psychological bodies worldwide.
No. Stage hypnosis is entertainment — people volunteering to perform for an audience. Clinical hypnotherapy is a structured, professional therapy used to help with real conditions like anxiety, depression, pain, phobias, and addictions. The two share a name, but they have very little in common. In a clinical setting, you remain fully aware, fully in control, and the focus is entirely on your wellbeing.
Clinical hypnotherapy has a significant body of research supporting its effectiveness for a range of conditions. The evidence is strongest for anxiety, pain management, and IBS, with good supporting evidence for depression, phobias, smoking cessation, and other conditions. Like any therapy, results vary from person to person — but the approach is well-established and widely used in clinical practice around the world.
Counselling and talk therapy work primarily at the conscious level — you discuss your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Hypnotherapy goes a step deeper by working with the subconscious mind, where many of the automatic patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses that drive your symptoms are stored. This is why hypnotherapy can sometimes produce noticeable shifts faster — you're addressing the root patterns rather than managing them through conversation alone. Some people use hypnotherapy alongside counselling or other treatments.
Clinical hypnotherapy can help with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety and stress, depression, chronic pain and migraines, fears and phobias, confidence and performance issues, physical conditions like IBS and insomnia, relationship issues, negative memories and past trauma, addictions and habits, past life regression, and spirit release therapy. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual. You can see the full list on our Services page.
Yes. When practised by a trained clinical hypnotherapist, hypnotherapy is considered safe. You remain aware and in control throughout the session. There is no physical contact and no medication involved. The process is gentle, non-invasive, and works at your own pace. If you have any specific medical conditions, it's always good to let your therapist know so the approach can be tailored appropriately.
About Your Sessions
Every session follows a clear structure. First, we talk about what you're experiencing and what you want to work on. Then I guide you into a state of deep relaxation using my voice. Once relaxed, we work with the subconscious patterns behind your symptoms — this might involve revisiting a memory, reframing a belief, or releasing tension. After the hypnotherapy part, we debrief and I give you self-practice suggestions for between sessions. You can read more on our How It Works page.
No. You remain fully aware and in control at all times. You can open your eyes, speak, or stop the session whenever you want. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process — nothing happens without your awareness and consent. You cannot be made to say or do anything against your will.
Most people describe it as feeling deeply relaxed and focused — similar to being absorbed in a good book or lost in thought, where everything else gently fades into the background. You're not asleep and you're not unconscious. It's a natural, comfortable state that most people find pleasant and calming. Many clients say it's the most relaxed they've felt in a long time.
Yes. Most people remember everything that happens during a hypnotherapy session. Occasionally, some details may feel a bit hazy immediately after — similar to waking from a deep rest — but this is normal and the memories typically return clearly within minutes.
Most people can enter a hypnotic state. It's not about having a special ability — it's more about your willingness to relax and engage with the process. A skilled clinical hypnotherapist adjusts the approach to suit your individual response style. If you're willing to try, it's very likely to work for you.
It depends on what you're working on and how you respond. Some people notice meaningful shifts after 2–3 sessions. Others benefit from a longer engagement, especially for deeper or longer-standing concerns. There's no fixed number — we discuss a realistic plan after your first session, based on your specific situation. You're never locked into a set number of sessions or a package.
A typical session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. The first session is usually slightly longer as we spend more time understanding your situation and explaining the process. The exact duration depends on what we're working on and how the session unfolds.
Online Hypnotherapy Sessions
Yes. Clinical hypnosis is entirely voice-guided — there is no physical contact involved. This makes it naturally suited for online delivery. The therapeutic quality is the same whether you're in a clinic room or your own living room. Many clients actually find it easier to relax in their own space. I've been working with clients online for years, including people across India and internationally.
A quiet, private room where you won't be disturbed. A comfortable chair or sofa — you'll be sitting, not lying down. A stable internet connection with Zoom or Google Meet installed. Earphones or headphones are recommended for the best audio quality. Have some water nearby and silence your phone before we begin.
Sessions happen via Zoom or Google Meet — whichever you prefer. Both work well and the choice is yours. You'll receive a session link before your appointment.
Booking & Practical Questions
You can book a session by visiting the Contact page on this website, or by getting in touch directly. Tell us briefly what you're dealing with and we'll get back to you to schedule your first session.
Please get in touch to discuss your situation. We can have a brief conversation to understand what you need and explain how hypnotherapy might help, before you commit to a full session.
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom or Google Meet. Clinical hypnosis is entirely voice-guided, so online sessions are just as effective as being in the same room. All you need is a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection. This format also means you can work with a specialist hypnotherapist in Delhi without having to travel.
Yes. Because all sessions happen online, I work with people across Delhi, NCR, India, and internationally. All you need is a stable internet connection and a quiet space. The quality of the therapeutic work is the same regardless of where you are.
